In May of 2016, the State Board of Education presented Watkins with the Momentum Award for receiving A’s on every value-added measure included on Ohio’s School Report Card.

Offers graduation diplomas, ESOL, & Computer skills, and Secretary training. Additional adult courses include: Entrepreneur Class. There is also a computer lab.Produce give-a-ways and the Lutheran Social Services Benefit Bank is also housed in the community center. The Benefit Bank helps residents with utility assistance, free tax service, help in enrolling for SNAP benefits. and a community resource information desk.

Opened in September of 2014, this is the newest addition to our community. From the summer meal program for youth, to the great response from our residence. This library is wonderful.

The community recreation center is a great place to learn about the residence that live in our community. Youth have the opportunity to register for scheduled activities. and programs offered by the City of Columbus Department of Parks and Recreation.

Our senior center is a lively place that brings together older adults who want to be engaged in their community and peers. Our senior center provides the activities that older adults need to be healthy, happy and as independent as they can be.
